L. Alex Staley began his career in the construction industry as a project engineer and scheduler on large construction programs in Boston, Seattle, and Los Angeles. Complemented by a B.S. degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida, Mr. Staley continued to refine his skills with appointments to a Los Angeles based consulting firm and several large national general contractors. Mr. Staley recognized the opportunity to provide a high-level of technical expertise in program controls to organizations in various industries, and founded AMS in 1994, with full intention to build one of the top project management consulting groups in the United States.
AMS continues to build on its ten years of successful long-term business relationships, through the maintenance of high-levels of performance, excellent service, and personal relationships. Throughout the Company's history, Mr. Staley has supported major programs in areas of high-tech construction, telecommunications, technology, health-care, oil / gas, and airport facilities. He maintains personal contact with his client base, backed by the full skills of the the AMS organization.
Mr. Staley currently resides in the Atlanta, Georgia area with his wife and two children.
